Advanced mode: who can open a secret, when, how many times, and with what extra check (Fixed PIN, 2FA or a passkey).
Transcript
Every secret can carry its own rules: where it opens, for how long, how many times, and who can open it.
In New secret, turn on Advanced mode. We'll type a message, then look at the Security settings.
Visibility limits the secret to the IP addresses you list, like your office network.
Timing sets when the link starts working, when it expires, and how long the secret stays on screen once revealed.
Access decides how many times it opens. Lock it after it is opened, and unlock it yourself when needed. Or make it a one-time link, destroyed after the first reveal.
Auth asks the recipient to prove who they are: with a fixed PIN, a 2FA code, a code sent to their email, or a passkey.
We'll choose Fixed PIN, set one, and click SharePass it.
The link shows its settings at a glance. Send the PIN another way, never in the same message as the link.
Your recipient opens the link and types the PIN. Only then can they reveal the secret.
